It has been known for a long time, but something in the balance of power must have changed, because the ratio of soldiers on maneuvers is surprising: the US 6,000 and Israel 1,000 soldiers. However, it is probably a strengthening of Israel's defense against a possible pre-emptive attack by Iran. Apparently either China or Russia are secretly deploying their own forces to the Arabian peninsula. Which thesis is true, time will tell. Certainly, the strengthening of Israel's armed forces by the US does not preclude the preparation of an attack on Iran. It is possible that during the attack, American troops are to secure the borders.
