Or maybe: Germany hesitates whether to break off cooperation with Russia? Recently we could read about the resignation of the Ministry of Defense in Berlin. From this it can be deduced that there are two factions inside the German government. Pro-NATO and separate from the interests of the Western alliance, which wants to pursue an independent EU policy from others and allows for continued cooperation with Russia. So he treats the war in Ukraine as an aggressor, as a temporary "military operation". For Germany, this is the moment when they will decide whether they are Moscow's lone aircraft carrier in Europe, or whether they will definitely join the western world represented by NATO. Formally, Germany belongs to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, but without much involvement of military resources or even arming its own army. Germany's role is not obvious which side of the conflict they support. And the decision whether to send offensive weapons to Ukraine will become such a declaration, where Moscow will not forget Berlin such a technology transfer aimed at the aggressor. So it's not just a question about tanks, it's a much broader context of which side Berlin will choose. And such a long time for the world to wait for this decision means an extensive calculation inside Germany, which is more profitable. Mentally, they are not on the side of the west, and probably after the defeat of World War II, they never stood, but they had to.
