Or maybe: China is perpetuating the East-West divide? China maintains pro-Russian propaganda in Asia despite the great costs it generates. Why is China going into this narrative. This is very much needed for them to start their internal internet and media control campaign. The obvious propaganda is designed to cut off the eastern part of the world from the western press. The same started the US fighting Tik Tok. Chinese social media are accused of electronic espionage and maybe this is a fact. But what kind of espionage can be practiced by the media of the West against the East? Simply presenting the world from a different perspective is a great threat to China and Russia, especially when it comes to internal politics towards their societies. A different presentation of the leaders of the two nations is already a great threat. It's nothing new when truth or a different perspective is treated as a threat by totalitarian countries. The same path was taken by the USSR and the same path is now taken by China and Russia. Propaganda about the war in Ukraine is just a test of real content censorship. Now in the east and when will it start in the west?
